We came out tops in a seven-goal thriller at the Arena as we completed the double over Warri Wolves FC with a 4-3 win after a 2-0 win in Ozoro in the first leg.

LINE-UP: Derrick Julu; Daniel Idoko, Emmanuel Matthais, Ununwa Elijah, Gift Udoh; Rasheed Owolabi, Dennis Mse, Tosin Oyedokun, Farouk Salami, Joseph Arumala, Abayomi Ayodeji.

A game that saw our Liberian Derrick Julu start in goal for the first time at home, it took only 8 minutes to break the deadlock at the other end. Abayomi Ayodeji stole the ball from the opponent, dribbled past a defender and fired past the keeper to score his first goal for the club.

Joseph Arumala was next to score as he headed home from a Tosin corner to extend our lead. A goal that was his 11th of his season. The visitors however pulled one back just two minutes after.

Abayomi got his brace before the half time whistle as he rounded the keeper to put us 3-1 up going into the break.

The visitors scored the first goal of the second half via the penalty spot to close the gap to 3-2 but Tosin Oyedokun responded with a fantastic hit outside the box to put but back two goals ahead.

The last say in the game went the way of Warri Wolves as they once again scored and reduced the scoreline to 4-3 as the full time whistle went.
