It’s a new month, a month of love as many would call it, and with love we visit Kano to play against Barau FC. As we are in love, we seek to get all three points, after all there’s love in sharing, and sharing is caring, so in the end, Barau should donate the three points in the name of love 😀😀.
Matchday 24 of the NPFL is here, and it all shows that the games are coming thick and fast, and the race keeps intensifying.
We’re proud of how far we have pulled through the past 23, but it means the journey to the end must be taken more seriously, and there’s no avenue to slack off.
Facing Barau FC
Take it twenty matchdays back, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, it was our first meeting against Barau FC. Joseph Arumala and Ayomide Cole’s second-half strikes were enough to give us the win. It was also our first win of the season, having drawn our first three games.
We would be hoping to get a win against them in Kano as well and do the double over them. For a team that is winless in three games, we are confident we can hurt them.
Team News
Kelechi Onwe will miss this one due to illness, while captain Waliu Ojetoye is also unavailable for the tie. All other players are available for selection.
