A 2-1 win over Plateau United on matchday 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League 2025/26 season made it three wins out of three in this month of November so far with two more to go.
LINE-UP: Michael Atata; Junior Christian, Alfred Odinaka, Gift Udoh, Waliu Ojetoye; Dagogo Ibifubara, Tomisin Adebayo, Folarin Temitope, Joseph Arumala, Naheem Odugbemi & Goodluck Anuba.

After picking our first win in the road last weekend against Warriors Wolves in Ozoro, Bright Ozegbagbe names an unchanged starting XI from that game and they quickly settled into dominating the opening stages against Plateau United.
The visiting side came with lots of physicality and only the final ball was lacking for us and we pressed but got no breakthrough as the first half ended goalless.
However, two minutes after the restart was all we needed to open the scoring. Folarin’s freekick was well met by Joseph Arumala in the box to head in the first goal and send the fans into frenzy.

A triple change saw Uche Onyemaechi, Tosin Oyedokun and Alade Balogun come on and the latter had a say in the game just a minute after. The striker capitalized on a defensive mix up in the 54th minute to slam home our second goal of the game and his first for the club.

The visitors doubled the tempo and it became even more intense as they went in search of a come back. They found the net from a header off a long throw into the box but it was only enough for a consolation as we finished with the win.

A trip up north is on the cards as we travel to Katsina to face banished Kano Pillars.
